October 2nd? Really? I want it to be a joke, but at the same time I'm so excited that October is here. I'm working like a crazy lady trying to get stuff done, but some things are slipping by and I can't help it.
The quilt shows this fall have been a lot of work, but fun hanging out with my favorite fellow vendors. I will be at the Simi Valley show this coming weekend, then I have one more small guild show before I leave for the Houston show.
The days have been long and hot here in Southern California. I don't know how people who live in this kind of weather more than 2 weeks do it. I'm too spoiled to live anywhere else.
I will be teaching the Rag Rug method at Cotton & Chocolate Quilt shop in Thousand Oaks this Friday 10:00-3:00. Hope I see some familiar face.
Have a great rest of the week. Shawn
